An eagle staff carried by the grandfather symbolizes traditions and wisdom in the community. The young child has a woven plaque with a butterfly design. Butterflies represent flowers, moisture, fertility, and life. She wears a headless like her mother’s that carries corn and moisture images. She represents the legacy of her culture and the continuation of her people.
