Come spend a cozy evening at Two Macaws learning the art of hand embroidery — and create your very own mischievous little feline caught in a ball of yarn!

In this beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll learn how to bring this adorable cat design to life, stitch by stitch. You’ll be guided through:

🐾 How to set up and transfer your embroidery project

🐾 Working with embroidery floss and the best techniques for a neat finish

🐾 Four foundational embroidery stitches that can be used in countless creative projects

🐾 Tips on finishing, displaying, or gifting your embroidered piece

Whether you’ve never picked up a needle before or you’re looking to brush up on your stitching skills, this class is purr-fect for beginners and anyone who loves handmade crafts, cats, and creative relaxation.

All materials are provided — just bring your curiosity, creativity, and a love for cats!

Zena van de Poel is a self-taught hand-embroidery artist who started stitching in 2020 as a creative outlet. Originally from the Netherlands, but now based in Winnipeg, her work is inspired by her childhood love of animals and nature.
